i couldn't help but laugh when i saw these photos done by pierrette diaz. as kids, we don't understand the real truths of the world. we think that babies are dropped off by huge storks on the front porch, you could actually break mommy's back by stepping on a crack, santa was always watching, and the boogy-man was under our bed. (boy were we wrong). it was also not until a few years ago that i had realized that money doesn't grow on trees either (i thought that was why my mom was always gardening...opps). make sure you check out the last photo, it is most definitely my favorite of the bunch.
